    params={"format": "t20i", "type": "batting"},
    headers=headers
)
for p in r.json()["data"]["batting"][:5]:

How to read the rankings response

Ask for one format at a time: Test, ODI, or T20I. Keep batters, bowlers, and all-rounders in separate tables. Each row should show rank, player, team, and rating. If a player has no rating for that format, leave the cell blank instead of copying the previous row. Refresh rankings a few times a day, not on every page view, because the table does not change ball by ball.

Use the rankings feed next to live scores, not instead of them. A match page still needs the scorecard and commentary for the selected match id. Send the API token on each request. A missing token returns HTTP 401, and paid plans start at Rs 99.
